Hi, im working on my site that has the user/pw function and once the user authenticates it uses a session variable to keep the user logged in. The session variable is destroyed until he clicks the "SIGN OUT" option. But now i would like to authenticate each time the user comes into the main page, even if he has logged in before, how can i do this?

you can set the destroy function as the first thing on the home page. still this would not be effective if you paste the url on the address bar, but this may work for something, hth.
