I found that document and now I'm a bit concerned about should I use this codes or the traditional ones? More specifically   or this

HTML entities like   are well recognized by all web browsers and are easy[er] to remember than decimal or hex entities. So for HTML programming you can use them without concerns.

Other languages like XML sometimes won't recognize HTML entities; thus you have to use numeric entities like   when you program for those languages.
