I have two divs. You know cells or frames, you set the size of one and to fill the rest you just use *. What is the equivalent in CSS for this or how could I do it? My divs are together like this:
<div style"width: *; float: left"></div><div style="width: 200px; float: left"></div>

Can you help me? Please? thank you in advanced.

You will need to find user resolution to make your calculations, check this topic: http://www.scriptingok.com/forum/t12_905-Find-client-browser-resolution

I don't think you can do it that way (using *), have you considered to use percentages instead?
<div style"width: 80%; float: left"></div><div style="width: 20%; float: left"></div>
