  help to change the column width

Hi,
I would like to set the width of a table according to the text the user types on a textarea, is this possible at all? Thanks in advanced for any help.

im not sure what you want to do, but the size of the columns change as text is typed in.

or maybe what you want to do is according to the size of the text inside the textarea, in that case what you can do is store that value into a variable, mesure its length and then set the column width, hth :?:

if thats the case, i dont know, try this function or any of its variations:
function count()
{
var i = document.formname.textareaname.value.length;
}
