  Security regarding the "password" input

Hello my friends.

Today I'm posting to see if somebody knows the answer to this question that invaded my mind today... It's about the security of a password input. How secure it is? If I copy paste the dots of the input box, is there a way to retrieve its original value?

I'd been doing copy-paste and couldn't get anything, but maybe you know a hack that I don't, so my basic question is how secure that field really is?

Thanks guys.

If you run a javascript you can find the value of the password field ;)
for(i=0; i<document.form.length; i++)
  {
    alert(document.form.elements[i].value);
  }

You can paste values onto it, but not from it
