How could I crop a table so its height doesnt necessarily fit its content? Is this even possible? I hope so :D

Thanks again for bearing with me.

You will need to clip it with CSS, and for that you need to absolute position it:
<div class="clip">
  <table>
  <tr>
  <td>this is how it works</td>
  </tr>
  </table>
</div>
<style type="text/css">
.clip{
  position:absolute; top: 200px; left: 200px;
  clip:rect(20px 220px 60px 20px);
    //      top right bottom left
  table{font-size: 72px}
}
</style>
