Hi, im wonderin where, within a webage, can i locate images?

Well, if you are using the <img /> tag, you can place it anywhere you want, as long as it is within the body.
Said that, here are some examples. Note that it could be any image file, not only .jpg.

Example 1, within the body.

<body>
    <img src="file.jpg" />
</body>



Example 2, within a table.

<body>
    <table>
        <tr>
            <td><img src="file.jpg" /></td>
        </tr>
    </table>
</body>

Let me suggest to use the 'alt' attribute, which could be the description of the picture. It is for only-text browsers, so the user might know what the picture was about. And is very easy to use.
<img src="tree.bmp" alt="Apple tree">
