i dont know if this is a html or math problem. This is my code:
<div style="width: 550px; height: 100%"></div>
<div style="width: 200px; height: 100%; position: fixed; left: 550px; top: 0px"></div>

and there is a gap of about 8px where the second div is over the first one, why and how can i fix it?

its because of the default margin, you can either go ahead having always in mind that 8px margin or remove it using this style
*{padding: 0px; margin: 0px}
