  use css to position things

Hi,

I think i finally would like to use css instead of tables, so what can i use as simple as a table to organize simple data?

Just to start,

DIVs can be used in maaany ways:
<div>text</div>
<div><img /></div>


Also, you can use css to give them shape, (and color :D )
Quote:

And to position ANY object with CSS (a div, a picture, etc.), you also have many ways to do it.
This is a simple one:
<div style="position: relative; top: 100px; left: 100px; width: 40%; height: 200px; 
background-color: #ff0; color: #000">text</div>
