Hi, im using iframes on my site. I have four of them,

-1 for the navigation bar
-2 for thumbnails
-3 the big main section
-4 description

when you click a link in each of the frames the rest of them are changed accordingly. but if someone types the direct address there will be no frames and i dont want this to happen. Is there a way to either block any access of this kind or redirect to the framed presentation?

This has been asked before. They suggested -if im not wrong- something with javascript or things like that. But i highly encourage you to avoid using frames. You can try divs that change its content according to the URL but you will need some serverside coding, nevertheless that would be the best way to go.

And for the question about blocking the access to some information, you can only achieve that using a server side language as well mixed with database queries.

Cheers.
