hi, im kind of new in html and i was using frames. then i was told that frames are not search engine friendly. also that not all browser supports them.

that left me with the question, should i use them or not? They are faster when using a nav bar that is going to be loaded trhough all the site, but what about users that cant open frames?

also, what kind of problems does frames have with search engine bots?

Now almost all browsers supports frames but the problem with search engine bots is that they dont crawl through frames, or even if they did, what if somebody access your framed site without the frames? it will look weird and out of context.

I think the major problem would be about search engine cos you can use
<noframes>Alternative content for frames-non-compatible browsers</noframes>
